Alexa Papadimos joined JONES ROBB, PLLC as an associate in 2016. She focuses her practice on preparation and prosecution of utility and design patent applications as well as client counseling in the chemical, mechanical, and electrical fields. Alexa’s patent prosecution experience encompasses clearance searches, patentability searches, inventor interviews, drafting applications, Examiner interviews, preparing responses to Office Actions, preparing Appeal and Reply Briefs in appeals to the BPAI/PTAB, and conducting reexamination proceedings. Alexa has represented startups, midsized firms, and Fortune 500 companies in a wide range of technologies, including glass composition, a wide variety of coatings and compositions, coating deposition methods, photovoltaic devices, display devices, batteries, organic light-emitting diodes, and household appliances.
Prior to joining the firm, Alexa worked at two different patent boutiques where she worked in all aspects of patent application preparation and prosecution. In addition to prosecution, Alexa also obtained experience with Federal Circuit appeals and litigation at the International Trade Commission.
Alexa graduated cum laude from the University of Toledo College of Law, where she was a recipient of the Dean’s Scholarship, and was a member of the Intellectual Property Moot Court team, as well as the Intellectual Property Law Society.
