Bill Grigos has a wide range of patent and industry experience, representing a variety of clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to individual inventors for the preparation and prosecution of patents before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and international patent offices. Bill has substantial experience in patent prosecution, and prosecutes patent applications covering electrical, mechanical, and medical technologies.

Previously, Bill served as a patent examiner at the USPTO where he examined applications related to energy generation and alternative energy technology, as well as control systems for regulating energy generation devices. This experience has provided valuable insights into the internal processes and procedures of the USPTO, which Bill translates into expedited prosecution and efficiently secured patent rights for clients. Bill draws from his diverse background to understand clients’ goals, crafting individualized portfolio development and management strategies, and procuring patent protection that provides value to his clients.

Prior to joining Jones Robb PLLC, Bill was an associate at a boutique IP law firm in D.C., where he gained experience preparing and prosecuting patent applications in various technological disciplines in the electrical arts.
